Change Default Card in Apple Pay on iPhone

On your iPhone, you can change your Apple Pay default card using one of two methods:

Via iPhone Settings

Follow these steps to change your default Apple Pay card:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
• Scroll down and tap on “Wallet & Apple Pay“.

• Navigate to the Transaction Defaults section and tap on “Default Card“.

• Now, you’ll see all your cards listed. Select the one you want to make your default.

Via Wallet App

You can also change the default card through the Wallet app. To do this as well, follow these steps:

• Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
• All your cards will be displayed. Note that the bottom card (fully visible) is your default card.
• To set a new default card, hold and drag your preferred card to the bottom or front.
• A pop-up (Making a card your default card) will appear confirming your change. Tap on “OK” to finalize the changes.
