Using your iPhone, you might buy many apps from the App Store. These apps are saved in your iCloud account, even if you delete them from your iPhone. Sometimes, you might not want others to see your purchase history.
Although you can’t completely delete your purchase history, you can hide apps you don’t want others to see. In this post, I’ll show you a simple way to Delete Apple App purchase history on the App Store.
Note: You can’t delete app purchase history, but you can hide apps that you do not want to display.
Delete Apple App Purchase History on iPhone
First, let’s find out where your purchase history is. Then, I’ll guide you on how to hide specific apps. Just follow these steps:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone.
- At the top right corner, tap on your profile (Account).
- On your Account page, tap “Purchased” under your profile name.
- Tap on “My Purchases.”
- You’ll see all your purchased apps under the “All” tab. If you switch to the “Not on this iPhone” tab, you can view apps you’ve bought but haven’t installed on your current device.
- Find the app you want to hide. Swipe to the right side to reveal a red “Hide” button.
- Tap on the “Hide” icon, and the app will no longer appear in your purchase history.
Note: To view your entire purchase history, including how much you spent on different apps, go to Settings > Your Apple ID > Media & Purchases > View Account > Purchase History.
By following these steps, you can hide your Apple App Purchase history, making it invisible to anyone checking your history.
This method allows you to keep your app installations and purchases private. Remember, hiding the app only removes it from the visible purchase history on your iPhone. To reinstall a hidden app, simply search for the app’s name in the App Store’s search bar and download it.
If this feature doesn’t work on your iPhone, or you need more privacy options, consider using third-party software. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below.
