What is the MIUI 13.5 update?
MIUI 13.5 was expected to be a version of Xiaomi smartphones based on Android updates. However, it was eventually released as MIUI 14 in the market and launched very successfully.
While Xiaomi has not officially announced a specific release date for the MIUI 13.5 update, it was expected to be released in the second half of 2023. However, it was already released under a new name, “MIUI 14,” in the market.

How to Download MIUI 13.5 Update
- Open the Settings app on your Xiaomi device.
- Go to the “About Phone” section.
- Tap on “MIUI Version” to check for the update availability.
- If the update is available, click “Download” to start downloading it.
- Once the download is complete, tap “Install” to install the update on your phone.
However, Xiaomi completely changed the plan of MIUI 13.5 and released MIUI 14, also skipping MIUI 15. Now all new and old Xiaomi smartphones are receiving the latest HyperOS update instead of MIUI. So if you are waiting for this 13.5 update, then please don’t wait for it, because now it’s no longer available.
