Setting Up Mute & Unmute AirPods on Your iPhone
If you want to change the mute and unmute options from a single press to a double press, follow these steps on your iPhone:
Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap on your AirPods.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on “Mute & Unmute.”
Step 3: Choose your preference:
- Press Once: Tap once to mute and unmute your call
- Press Twice: Tap twice to mute and unmute during the call
How to Mute AirPods During a Call
Step 1: To mute yourself during a call, press the stem or Digital Crown on your AirPods. This will instantly silence your microphone.
Step 2: To unmute yourself or rejoin the conversation, press the stem or Digital Crown again. You can now continue your conversation without missing a beat.
